The disappointment I felt only enhanced the shame that started to wash over me. Why did this man think it was okay to do that to me?! Why me?! I was sexually assaulted. I was touched unwantingly by someone who intentionally targeted me.
As folk have been challenged with church attendance, other folk have completely abandoned the idea of church all together. So often, we’ve been led to believe that we can figure it out on our own. If this COVID pandemic has taught me one thing, I’ve learned that a life without Christ is impossible. It’s time to RECONNECT! Here are 6 ways to grow your faith…even in a pandemic.
Not all relationships/friendships will last for a lifetime. None will be perfect. But, know that God does not intend for us to be alone in life. We are relational creatures by design. So make sure you are doing your part to maintain strong God-centered relationships.

In January 2020, after both The Preacher and I swore we survived un-diagnosed cases of Covid-19, God’s plan came to life. We conceived!
Being black in America is mentally draining. As we deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, we realize that fear and anxiety are normal physiological functions of the human body. However, we were not designed to constantly be in a state of panic and stress caused by fear and anxiety. We can be afraid and still have faith, while still knowing that God is with us!
